Building Better Communities in Orange County Since 1977

Established in 1977, the Orange County Regional Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (“CAI-OC”) serves the homeowner leaders, community managers and business partners who work with residents in the more than 5,000 community associations in our 34-city region by providing information, education and resources that further our mission of Building Better Communities.

    Loyalty Recognition

Members who purchase 2021 marketing opportunities that cumulatively total at least the same amount as their 2020 committed, pre-COVID-19 cumulative totals will receive special recognition on our website, social media, at all live events and in OC View.

CAI-OC provides the most direct line of marketing to community association board members and community managers in Orange County.  With 1,400 members and growing, the chapter is the largest in California and 6th largest in CAI’s international network of 64 chapters.

Our chapter has many educational events including luncheons, mini-trade shows, symposium and classroom seminars.  All of these offer both exhibitor and marketing opportunities.  In addition to the educational events, the chapter provides many social events to meet the networking needs of our members, including an annual golf tournament, billiards tournament, holiday social and more.  One of our signature events is the Annual OCEC Awards Dinner to recognize the outstanding contributions of our members and industry leaders who serve the community associations in Orange County.

Advertising opportunities include the chapter’s award-winning OC View. The OC View is a 40-page, full color magazine that serves the entire community association industry in Orange County. The chapter’s website is the leading resource for HOA board members with an online service directory, best practice reports, articles on legislative updates for the industry and much more. Virtual Marketing Opportunities became available in 2020 and include Presenting, Commercial, and other levels at our Couch Connect Webinars, 20-Minute Power Classes live– streamed on our social media, 10-minute CAI-OC Cribs Facility Tour live-streamed on social media and more.

January-March 2021 will not have live luncheons due to uncertainties caused by COVID-19, the potential financial impact and expense associated with producing our large-scale luncheons. For Q1 2021, we will continue our popular Couch Connect Educational Webinars (attendance range of 80-150). The luncheon/min-trade show events scheduled for April-December 2021 will be held at various hotels /venues in Orange County. Average attendance at our live innovative and informative luncheon programs is between 325 – 375. January-June 2021 Couch Connects/luncheons will be released on 11/12. To even the playing field for CAI-OC Members of all sizes and budgets, the July-December 2021 luncheons will be released in early 2021.
